Look away from the computer: Constant computer use causes eye strain from the amount of time spent looking at the bright screen. The computer screen is usually only an arms-length away and can cause suppressed vision in one eye or poor eye teaming.
Sitting at a computer for long periods of time can take a toll on your body. By not sitting in the correct position, it is easy to end up with back pain, neck pain, knee pains, and a tingling of the hands and fingers. This could easily turn into Carpal Tunnel Syndrome over prolonged usage. Sometimes, this pain becomes so severe and painful that surgery is the only option. It is best avoided by good practices.
STEPS:
1. Push your hips as far back as they can go in the chair.
2. Sit close to your keyboard and position it so that it is directly in front of your body
